Ascots Are Back!

Ascots are once again coming to the forefront of Men’s fashion.  Many of the latest trends nowadays seem to recycle back after a couple years. There are things that may disappear in the meantime but will always come back in style. For example 10 years ago Patterned Ascots use to be a hot trend to wear with a pair of jeans and a white shirt.  A few years later they were not as popular but now with the help of TV and Big Screen actors, Ascots are back and they are the latest rage.

Men are dressing up very differently; much different from the way they used to dress years ago. Nowadays men of all ages are not afraid to defy principle, to dress according to what they want to wear. They can wear a Two-Sided Bowtie to work and turn around and wear it out on the town as well.  Even the younger generations have become much more sophisticated with their wardrobe and that may be a good sign, because it can only mean that they are not as conscious of age differences as before. What is Seersucker?

Traditional Seersucker is made with a thin, all-cotton fabric, commonly striped or checkered, and is used to make clothing for spring and summer wear.  Seersucker is woven in such a way that some threads bunch together, giving the fabric a wrinkled appearance. The most common colors for Seersucker are white and blue; however, there is a wide range of seersucker bowties in a variety of colors.  Also the alternating colored stripes and puckered white stripes slightly wider than pin stripes give the bowtie its wrinkled look.

Are You Overdressed?

You can never be overdressed, but boy you sure can be under-dressed and looking out of place. You know that there is a certain standard that you have to uphold especially if you want to show confidence.  The proper set of clothes, the right neck-tie, and the right attitude can help create your image. Kentucky Derby Fashion

The Kentucky Derby is one of the few times that gentlemen dress up and actually try and out do the ladies.  The standard look at the Derby usually consists of classic styles of Khaki or Seersucker.

Easter is a time of joy and celebration when family and friends gather together, celebrate, and bring good cheer to one and all.
