It's Back to School!
School is almost back in
session. What better way to look your
best and show pride in your school then with a College Striped Bowtie. Of course the most common way of displaying
loyalty to any sports team is to wear a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hat with the
team’s logos. But how about when you have graduated from your university and
you can no longer go to work wearing football jerseys or t-shirts? Should you
stop showing your support for your school? Of course not! For those who have
joined the rat race, or in a corporate setting, there are sharp looking
collegiate striped bow ties that can be worn with the protocol shirt, slacks
and jacket. Collegiate striped bow ties are normally worn in many offices, because
obviously each of the professionals working in there came from one college or
another. So whether you want to wear a Red and Black college striped bow tie or an Orange and Navy striped bowtie, you will proudly proclaim your loyalty to your school without violating
the dress code of the office.

Knit Ties are Back!
Knit ties are once again back in style. Many of
the latest trends seem to recycle back after a few years. There are things that may disappear in
the meantime but will always come back in style. For example 10 years ago the Polka-dot Knit Tie was a popular item to wear with a pair of jeans and a
white shirt. A few years later that style was no longer in, but now the Knit Tie is making it’s come back. Straight
sided and square ended, a knit tie has texture, depth, and dimension, and it convey’s
a visual interest that you won't get from a standard-issue silk necktie.

All About Your Tie Bar
The Tie Bar. A traditional menswear accessory that has enjoyed a rebirth in popularity thanks to a revived interest in classic men’s style. A tie bar is a minor detail that can have a huge impact on your wardrobe.
A tie bar is meant to keep your Necktie securely to the placket of your shirt. You do not want your tie bar attached only to your tie and simply left to swing about. It should never be wider than your tie and should be worn around your sternum area just below your pectoral muscles.
Silver is a timeless classic, and try and stay away from the colorful over-sized Tie Bars.

Fall Trends for 2013
This season the hot color for your wardrobe is your charcoals and gray’s. Most of the major Designers are showing charcoal worn from head-to-toe. Charcoal Bow ties were paired with contrasting hues and patterns. We also saw slate colored jackets thrown over gunmetal trousers.
Dark Red was another hot color which dominated the runway. A lot of the dark reds and burgundy’s were paired with brighter colors like teal and Tiffany to make a more vibrant look for Fall.
